The Edmond J. Safra
Fountain Court

Featuring the unified powers of Danalogue, Betamax and Shabaka, The Comet is Coming is a cosmic alignment of interstellar talents featuring synth, drums and saxophone.

For this very special performance at Somerset House – their last in London before the band return to near-Earth orbit for a break from touring – they're joined by Daisy Dickinson, a groundbreaking visual artist and filmmaker. Daisy’s short films have been screened at film festivals such as BFI London and Raindance, while her installations have toured the globe, from Glastonbury to Japan.

Together they present Hyper-Dimensional Expansion Beam – a unique collision between the band’s cosmic sounds and Dickinson’s transcendent visuals – as they open a portal to new universes and other dimensions.

Jazz futurism played with bug-eyed, punk brutality by the reliably thrilling London trio

The Observer
The Comet is Coming, Tecnicolour

On London punk-cosmiche outfit Snapped Ankles' latest and fourth album - Forest of Your Problems - the wild men of the woods bring their ancient forest rhythms and high-wire, multi-media live act to ever bigger stages, including BBC 6 Music Festival, a sold-out UK tour culminating in two nights at Village Underground and most recently a Halloween Roundhouse show. As those who have witnessed the shamanic ritual of their live shows will attest, they're a truly unique, communal experience, with the group guaranteed to bring their feral energy and post-punk manoeuvres.
