Cancellation: If an event for which you have purchased tickets is cancelled in full (and not rescheduled), your order will be cancelled, and you will be refunded the full price of your tickets including any booking fees. We will make reasonable endeavours to notify you of the cancellation and refund using the email address provided at the point of booking. Refunds will be issued within two weeks of notification of cancellation.
Rescheduling: If an event for which you have purchased tickets is rescheduled, your tickets will be valid for the new date. We will make reasonable endeavours to notify you of the rescheduling using the email address provided at the point of booking. If you notify us within the specified deadline that you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you will be able to cancel your order and obtain a full refund.
Alteration: If the headline act of an event for which you have purchased tickets is altered, your tickets will be valid for the altered event. Change of support act, changes to individual members of a band or individual changes to the line-up of any multi-performer event are not regarded as an alteration. We will make reasonable endeavours to notify you of any alteration using the email address provided at the point of booking. If you notify us within the specified deadline that you do not wish to attend the altered event, you will be able to cancel your order and obtain a full refund including booking fees. Failure to notify us within any specified deadline that you do not wish to attend the altered event will be deemed to be a reconfirmation of your order for the altered event, and you will not be able to claim a refund.
Please note, these terms and conditions apply only to tickets purchased direct via Somerset House. Any tickets purchased via Ticketmaster are subject to Ticketmaster’s own terms and conditions.

Returning customers, who have booked and set up an account for an event at Somerset House before, will need to log in using the email address they have booked with in the past.
Please check your booking confirmation which you will receive shortly after making your booking. Please note this is not your ticket. Your e-ticket (along with essential information about security measures and site regulations) will arrive to the email address provided for your account 48 hours prior to your event to reduce the risk of ticket touting. We do not print or post physical tickets.
Tickets are sent from a non-reply address noreply@somersethouse.org.uk, please make sure your check your spam folders for tickets.
Somerset House operates a no refund or exchange policy, exemptions listed above.
If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed you will be contacted directly by the point of purchase to make necessary arrangements.
Maximum 6 tickets per household per event. Orders exceeding the ticket limit may be cancelled without notice at our discretion. This includes duplicate orders having the same name, email address, billing address or credit card.
Ticket touting is strictly prohibited. Any tickets resold by anyone other than Somerset House Trust or an authorised agent, or at greater than the face value of the ticket, will be void and you will be refused entry to the venue. Tickets bought from unauthorised sources are not valid.
Tickets bought through Somerset House can be resold through Twickets, but please note this does not include Access Platform or Companion tickets.

You will be required to bring valid photographic ID with you on the night as proof of purchase.
Somerset House will not be responsible for any ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed.

Tickets bought through the Somerset House website can only be resold via Twickets. No other platform is valid for ticket resale.
Please note that tickets can only be resold up to 10am two days prior to the event date. For example, if the event is on Wednesday, tickets must be resold by 10am on Monday.
We are not able to accept resales for Access Platform ticket via Twickets due to the limited availability on our Access Platform and our need to prioritise wheelchair users and visitors with disabilities.

Your safety at Somerset House is paramount and we continually liaise with the appropriate authorities to ensure robust security measures are in place. Please comply with all instructions given to you by the staff onsite.
Full bag searches and wanding will be conducted, and pat down searches may be requested. To support our staff and make this process efficient, please do not bring a bag if possible. If you bring a bag, it must be no larger than a small handbag or a canvas tote bag.
Please do not bring rucksacks, suitcases or other large bags (A3 size/35cm x 40cm and above). Bags this size will need to be checked into the cloakroom for a £5 charge per item.
Empty soft plastic refillable bottle sized 1000 ml or less are allowed on site. Please note that no hard plastic bottles, metal or glass bottles are permitted and will be confiscated. Water refill stations and reusable cups are available on site.
Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to allow you to pass through our enhanced security checks, and share this information with all members of your party.
Somerset House events are fully inclusive safe spaces for any person to participate and enjoy without fear of feeling marginalised, unrepresented, or unwelcome. By entering these spaces, you agree to respect any body, attire, gender, sexual orientation, race, belief and experience that are not your own. We also expect the same courtesy to be afforded to you. We reserve the right to refuse entry to and/or eject from the event in reasonable circumstances, including without limitation for health and safety or licensing reasons, if you behave in a manner which has or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other persons at the event; if you use threatening, abusive or insulting words or mannerisms; if, in our reasonable opinion, you are acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs; if you fail, when required, to produce proof of identity or age; if you refuse to comply with the security searches; if you breach these terms; or if your ticket is void.
We will have a team of sniffer dogs present. If you are lucky enough to see one, please remember they are working and have an important job to do.
You cannot bring food, alcohol, cans, glass, aerosols or any item that could be used as a weapon (including sharp or pointed objects). If you bring such items with you, they will be confiscated by a member of our team or you may be refused entry.
Doors open at 19.30 each night with the exception of Saturday 20 (Hak Baker) when doors will open at 19.15 with support from 19.30.

Our gigs are open-air and go ahead come rain or shine, so please come prepared! The audience area is not covered. There is no fixed seating in the courtyard and all tickets are standing only.
There's no age restriction for Summer Series, but everyone attending requires a ticket and we do not recommend bringing young children. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult and we recommend that children should be encouraged to wear ear protection.
Somerset House operates Challenge 25. If you appear to be under 25 you will be asked for proof of age when purchasing alcohol and may be refused if you do not have the appropriate photographic ID to hand.
Should you experience any problems during your visit please contact the nearest member of the Somerset House Team as every effort will be made to resolve the issues during the event.
Please note that Summer Series is a cashless event.
We advise that you arrive with your full party to ensure that you gain entry with ease.
There is strictly no re-admission.
About the venue
The courtyard is fully accessible for wheelchair users and disabled ticket holders. Please note that the courtyard has an uneven, cobbled surface. Apart from the accessible platform which needs to be pre-booked there is no seating available. You are not permitted to bring temporary seating.
Any wheelchair user or disabled visitor wishing to use the Access Platform must book their ticket by calling 0333 320 2836 (subject to availability). Lines are open between 09.00 - 18.00 - Mon-Fri, 10.00 - 18.00 - Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays. This ticket guarantees a place on the platform for the duration of the performance for you and a companion.

Step-free access is available via the Strand only during Summer Series due to the site-wide closure.
If you have access to The Lounge with American Express on the River Terrace and require step-free access speak to one of our Visitor Experience team on arrival.
Toilets
We have a number of accessible toilets on site. These will be clearly signposted and included on site maps. Please ask a member of staff if you need assistance locating the toilets.
We also have many gender-neutral cubicle toilets behind the stage. These are accessed via a flight of steep stairs which have a hand-rail.
Customers with Medical Requirements
We welcome attendees who need to bring medicines, medical equipment, food or drink to manage a medical condition. Please let us know about this in advance by contacting visitor@somersethouse.org.uk.
We will also have trained medical staff onsite at all times during the event.
Assistance Animals
Assistance animals are allowed on site during Summer Series. Animals must be kept with you at all times.
Companion tickets
Anyone requiring an Accessible ticket including wheelchair users are entitled to one free Personal Assistant/companion ticket which can be booked by calling 0333 320 2836. Lines are open between 09.00 - 18.00 - Mon-Fri, 10.00 - 18.00 - Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays.
Access Platform Tickets
Due to the limited availability on our Access Platform and our need to prioritise wheelchair users and visitors with disabilities whose needs are best supported on the platform, we are not able to accept resales for Access Platform tickets on Twickets. Strobe effects
There may be strobe lighting or strobe effects within shows. We cannot guarantee that any show will be free of strobe effect lighting or effects which would affect those with sensitivity to flashing lights.
Noise
Summer Series gigs can be very loud, but we comply with Westminster Council safety standards. Loud music may damage your hearing. If you have sensitivity to noise, we recommend bringing ear defenders or ear plugs with you. There will also be ear plugs available for free at the bars for any visitors.

The unauthorised use of professional equipment for photographing, filming, recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material within the Venue is strictly forbidden.
By attending an Event, you give your express consent to your actual or simulated likeness to be included within any film, photograph, audio and/or audio-visual recording to be exploited in any and all media for any purpose at any time throughout the world. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers.
During the gigs our courtyard bars will be offering a selection of drinks all evening, including premium world beer San Miguel, the official beer partner of Summer Series. There will also be street food available from pop-up food stalls in the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court.
A select number of Enhanced tickets are available for an additional £25.00. Ticket holders will be given access to the private Enhanced Bar located in WatchHouse, supported by San Miguel, with a free drink on arrival (wine, beer or soft drink). Please note WatchHouse sits alongside the courtyard but does not offer a clear view of the main stage. The bar is open throughout the concert and your drinks can be taken into the main courtyard.
