In Western vocabulary, there exist remarkably few words to describe smell. Whilst exploring the scent landscapes in this exhibition, you will have a chance to make notes in response to the fragrances. An evolving studio broadcasting live via perfume.digital, located in the Perfume Lab at Somerset House, presents an ever-changing artwork in response to the perfumes. By gathering these impressions and expressions over the course of the exhibition, we hope to understand how we might expand the ways we talk about scent.
