All forms of community are now more important than ever, and it is vital that we find mechanisms to support each other through this precarious time. Established by Anne Duffau, Hana Noorali and Tai Shani, this online platform commissions artists, writers and thinkers to share their work online.
In the landscape that we have found ourselves in, many artists, writers and thinkers have had exhibitions, opportunities and subsequent fees postponed or cancelled. In response to this, the online platform TRANSMISSIONS has been established to commission artists to share their work within a classic DIY TV show format.
Each invited artist has complete creative control over the episode and season 2 features contributions from writer Kat Anderson, Plastique Fantastique, Juliet Jacques, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, BBZ and Ignota Book plus many more.
TRANSMISSIONS runs as weekly episodes screening every Wednesday at 21.00 and repeated on Fridays at 10.00 on Twitch. Episodes are not archived.
