Biographies

Sarah Howe’s debut poetry collection Loop of Jade won the T.S. Eliot Prize and The Sunday Times / PFD Young Writer of the Year Award. Sarah’s poetry 'has, in her terms, “crossed the imaginary line” between the personal and the political ... between the real state of arrival and the dream state of pursuit’ (Daljit Nagra).

Kate Potts' debut poetry pamphlet Whichever Music was a Poetry Book Society Choice and was shortlisted for a Michael Marks Award. Her full-length collection Pure Hustle was described as "a pure gem" by Jo Shapcott. 

Karen McCarthy-Woolf’s poetry has been nominated for the Forward best first collection prize, translated into Spanish, Swedish and Turkish and is a ‘wryly humorous take on origins, identity and movement’ (BBC Arts).
