Nonclassical are a label and club night that put on classical music well outside of its traditional context. Bypassing classical venues and concert halls, Nonclassical present live classical music alongside live electronic music and DJs in pubs and clubs around London. The collective consists of a number of performers and ensembles who play at the nights and release recorded music through Nonclassical as a label.
Tom Richards, a member of the collective and artist in his own right, will be coming in to discuss Nonclassical and provide some demos of what it’s all about.

Artist talks at Music Hackspace are very open in format, often incorporating demos and short performances. Doors for this event will open at 18.30. The talk will begin at 19:00 with time for Q&A afterwards. Drinks will be available from the bar next to the entrance to the New Wing of Somerset House.
