Channel is Somerset House’s new curated online space for art, ideas and the artistic process.
- Age 14 and over only (young children and babies cannot be admitted).
- You will be required to wear a backpack for the duration of the exhibition weighing 3.5kg. If you have an existing back condition we advise that you do not participate, if you do wish to you participate you do so at your own discretion.
- You will need to bring ID to verify your status for concessionary tickets.
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your session.
- Capacity is limited and entry is timed so latecomers cannot be admitted.
- You will be escorted by a member of staff through a short VR experience.
How to get here
On arrival please follow the signs directing you to the exhibition entrance in the New Wing.

Tickets
Concession price tickets apply to seniors (over 60s), teachers, tutors, disabled, students and registered unwaged. You will need to bring relevant ID to verify your status.
Box Office
Tickets will be able to be purchased on-site from 18 May at the admissions desk located at the River Rooms entrance New Wing.
Can I wear glasses?
Most glasses will fit inside the VR headsets, however if you wear large glasses, they may not fit. If you have contact lenses we would recommend wearing them instead.
Access
The space is fully accessible however, there are some uneven surfaces. Free companion tickets are available if required.
Cloakroom
There is no cloakroom on-site so please avoid bringing heavy bags and bulky items.
