Mary Greenwell has created the make-up for stellar names including Linda Evangelista, Kate Moss, Princess Diana, and Cate Blanchett. She has worked with photographers such as Irving Penn, Paolo Roversi, and Patrick Demarchelier, and designers such as Vivienne Westwood, who have sought her out for her innate ability to make women luminously beautiful. The ‘go-to’ beauty make-up artist is a long-term collaborator with Sam McKnight and one of the most experienced industry professionals around. Mary is in conversation with writer and beauty journalist Sali Hughes whose regular column for The Guardian inspires a legion of devotees. Together they will discuss some of the iconic images that Mary has worked upon, and also unpick what’s happening in a selection of fashion photographs.
