Guides reflect on Hawser’s creative processes, taking you on a journey through the three dimensional mind-map of sculptures, audiovisual displays, medical hardware and archival materials. They'll also reveal unexpected connections between the body, the building, the river and the city, built from Eloise’s two years of artist research in residence at Somerset House Studios.
Progressing in parallel to the river, you’ll come to understand Somerset House’s close relationship with the Thames and Victoria Embankment, and consider the hidden networks of liquid flow connecting ourselves to our surroundings in a new age of advanced engineering.
