Delayed Gratification is a beautiful printed quarterly publication, launched in 2011, which revisits the events of the previous three months to see what happened after the dust settled and the news agenda moved on. It is proud to be ‘Last to Breaking News’, giving an antidote to kneejerk, Twitter-driven coverage. The magazine is proudly published from Makerversity at Somerset House.
In the magazine's week-long East Wing Edit you can expect to enjoy a gallery of the best infographics from the first seven years of Delayed Gratification, covering everything from gun violence to the career of Alan Partridge to the definitive guide to how to win an Oscar. We'll be hosting special classes on magazine craft, with opportunities to join in an editorial brainstorming session, as well as putting on talks from some of our best journalists and editors. It'll be a great opportunity to see under the lid of an independent magazine that's made a name for its in-depth, non-partisan journalism and gorgeous design.
