This summer Somerset House is celebrating the incredible contribution skateboarding has brought to UK culture in a free Terrace Rooms exhibition, No Comply: Skate Culture & Community. Who better to soundtrack a weekend than Valentine, co-owner of Brixton's Baddest Skateshop, a mecca for local and independent skater owned brands as well as the hottest new gear from skating's most popular names.
"I first got into dancehall when I started hanging out at the Brixton Beach. It was the first place I found a connection in this city of autonomy with a community that welcomes outsiders of all backgrounds. Not organised, no rules, just respect. BMT. Since then I’ve DJ'd for Baddest’s Knowwave Show and the FOSS nights at Café Cairo plus loads of skateboarding events."
Come and celebrate the weekend at Dodge with a brunch of freshly made waffles, top cocktails, the perfect summer soundtrack from top London DJs and two whole hours of unlimited dodgems. A fun filled way to make the most of those summer days in style.
Brunch bookings of 2 hours are available to book starting from 11.00 – 12.45 on weekends, includes unlimited dodgems for all Bump & Brunch ticket holders. DJs will play from 11.15 - 14.15.
