Presented by the Crafts Council, Collect is the leading international art fair for contemporary craft and design. The fair showcases the best work created by living artists in the world today.
Where museums acquire art for their contemporary collections and interior designers and art advisors select work with their clients, Collect invites art lovers and buyers at all stages of their collecting journey to become part of the contemporary craft movement.
40 galleries from across the globe will represent over 400 contemporary artists in this stunning and exciting setting. Each gallery will create its own signature curation in response to the historic rooms of Somerset House and commission new bodies of work especially for the fair. 80% of the works on show will have been made in the last five years.
Made from an extraordinary range of materials, artworks will include ceramics, furniture, glass, wearable art, precious and non precious metalwork, sculpture, textiles and woodwork. Each piece unique, authentic, made by hand with a rich narrative to tell. Prices range from £50,000 for high end collectors to £500 for those art lovers who are starting out on their collecting journey and seeking stand out pieces for their homes.
Nestled amongst the galleries will be craft installations by individual artists and collectives. Exhibiting under the umbrella name of Collect Open, work is made especially for the fair. Inspiring projects will take artists' creative practices to the next level challenging the viewer's material, social, political or personal perceptions.
Cementing its position at the forefront of the contemporary craft movement, Collect 2025 will once again play host to an engaging talks programme, offering visitors a chance to hear from leading experts in art, craft and design. Entry to the talks is free with your ticket or invitation.
