Somerset House Studios in partnership with UAL Creative Computing Institute launch a new Experimental Technology Fellowship offering a unique development and commission opportunity for artists looking to incorporate new technology within their work.
Selected following a nomination process involving artists, curators, academics and cultural professionals, Revital Cohen and Tuur van Balen will receive practical and technological support over a 5-month residency across both sites to develop a new experimental work which will be presented on Channel, Somerset House’s new curated online platform for art, ideas and the creative process in September 2023.
This programme is specifically aimed at artists who have an established practice but who have not yet worked with creative technology in a significant way. The Fellowship includes access to workspace, labs, technical and academic exertise along with curatorial advice, producer support and studio facilities.
