Illustrator Sophia Ward leads an afternoon of imaginative exploration filled with unusual objects and illustrations. Using surprising facts about the former functions of our grand building for inspiration before crafting your own prominent predictions of what's to come.
Our family drop-in workshops are suitable for accompanied children 6 - 12 and are designed for families working together.
Sophia Ward Graduated from Kingston University London in Summer 2016 with a degree in Illustration Animation and is currently developing her work and the audiences she engages with. For this activity Sophia is adapting a project which uses abstract laser cut wooden shapes to spark memories initially designed for those with dementia and memory loss. The workshop has been reworked for a family audience for a playful look at history, memory and predicting the future.
