In May 2025, American Artist will join Somerset House Studios for a month-long residency to develop a new digital commission for Channel, Somerset House’s curated online space for art, ideas and the artistic process. While in London, American also seeks to connect with local practitioners engaging in parallel conversations, expanding dialogues between artistic communities in New York and London. This Grounding Practice session offers a chance to engage with American’s work more deeply, expanding the global discourse surrounding their practice.
