Saturday 11 February, 11.00 - 16.00: Objects We Live With
In this session we will explore different objects, their aesthetic and their functions. We will consider their stories, what they mean and how we might display them. You will also get to create your own display that you will receive support to design on the day.
Saturday 18 February, 11.00 - 16.00: Objects Through Cycles of Time, Production & Manufacture
In this session we will go off site together, giving you a chance to visit somewhere new and learn how products are made uniting both beauty and function. We will discover new technologies and production processes and you will use these to make your own object/sculpture.
Saturday 25 February, 11.00 - 16.00: Object Ideas Embodied
In this session we will pull together everything we have learnt so far to create an exhibition together. This will draw on what you have seen, learnt and accomplished in previous weeks.
This is a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes with one of our Studios’ artists, giving you an insight into how they work and a chance to gain experience for future creative opportunities.
