Imagining the future together, to start building a better world today.

Join us for an evening of discussion with expert speakers, including Simon BurrallProfessor Aladin Aladin and Shelagh Wright, followed by a collaborative brainstorming session exploring how we can engage citizens and stakeholders in imagining the future and together start building a better world today.

In the last few months, post-Brexit, five Future Assemblies have taken place in theatres across England; in Liverpool, London, Newcastle, Exeter and Ipswich. Each Assembly was a two day process, in which teenagers joined forces with over 60s to co-create visions of a future they want to see in 10 years’ time.

During the referendum many people, both in the Leave and Remain camps, expressed the feeling that they had lost any connection with the political system. They want to be heard and know their voices make a difference. Future Assembly uses creativity, future visioning and conversation to start a national conversation,  revealing visions of possible futures to inspire us all. What kind of UK do we want in 2026?

Future Assemblies was created by Annette Mees made possible by Irrational Agency and The Space.
