Founded by Akosua Boakye BEM in 2005 and launched in 2012, AkomaAsa Arts works with the support of parents, creative individuals, organisations and the voices of our CYP. We engage in the on going work of teaching and learning about African, Caribbean and Western social, cultural and historical connections through collaborative working relationships.
We empower and enable children and young people (CYP) to build greater confidence and self esteem in themselves. Whilst working closely with parents, creative individuals, and organisations we to support to CYP to explore, discover, and create.
