Zakia initially took up DJing while working behind the counter at Honest Jon's Records and producing for NTS Radio. Since then, she's gone on to play some of London's top venues, from Corsica Studios to audiophile hangout Brilliant Corners, and she's now a resident DJ at the Jazz Café. Whether she's selecting in the club or live on-air, you can expect the unexpected – her weekly NTS show Questing explores deep and cosmic sounds, from spiritual jazz to psychedelic folk and dub.
