This session covers the basics of 360 recording techniques such as using binaural and Ambisonic microphones, editing, mixing and encoding your 360 videos for online platforms (YouTube VR, Facebook 360 or bespoke).
Open to all levels, you do not need any previous experience, just an interest in using immersive audio in 360. Call & Response will make sure that you go away with all the free software you need to continue making great audio for 360 video. We especially encourage women and non-binary participants to take part in the workshop.
Requirements:
- A laptop with Reaper installed on it. You can download a free trial here.
- A pair of headphones.
