A two-time Academy Award-winner, William Goldman is best-known for his screenplays for All the President’s Men, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid and Misery. He also wrote the beloved The Princess Bride (both novel and screen adaptation), which plays as part of Film4 Summer Screen on Sunday 11 August. Goldman was a frank and witty chronicler of Hollywood and the film industry in books such as 'Adventures in the Screen Trade' and 'Which Lie Did I Tell?'
