The Creative Job Studio is an on-going partnership between Somerset House and Creative Society which brings opportunities to hear young peoples’ artistic voice, supporting their professional development as they begin to sculpt their creative careers.
Our Creative Job Studio: FILM event on Thursday 22 August will bring young filmmakers and film enthusiasts (18-25 year olds) and established industry professionals together at Somerset House to share work, discuss ideas and investigate themes explored in the major new exhibition celebrating the past 50 years of Black creativity in Britain and beyond, Get Up, Stand Up Now.
We are looking for innovative young filmmakers (18-25-year olds) to submit their short films to be reviewed by a panel for the chance to be selected to screen at this event. We particularly encourage applications from people from under-represented backgrounds.

Criteria:
• Considerations: Quality of the work | Innovation | Relevance to the programme
• By submitting this work, you declare that this is your original film work
• All content must be cleared for use within the film
• Please note due to high volumes of submissions we will not be able to give individual 1-1 feedback
What will you gain:
• Your chance to showcase your original work to industry professionals at a prominent arts organisation in Central London
• Direct feedback from peers and industry innovators / potential mentors
• Meet face to face industry talent to start building your professional network
