Loneliness: A Climate Change Story is a series of six poems by Selina Nwulu and are available in the Seamen's Hall during the Earth Day Season 2019. Join us on Saturday 27 April when Selina will be reading and talking about this new commission in the Seamen's Hall, South Wing at 14.00 and 15.30.
Selina Nwulu is a writer, poet and essayist based in London. She was Young Poet Laureate for London 2015-6, a prestigious award that recognises talent and potential in the capital. Her first chapbook collection, ‘The Secrets I Let Slip’ was published by Burning Eye Books and is a Poetry Book Society recommendation. From 2017-18, she was ‘Writer and Creator in Residence’ at the Free Word centre and Wellcome Trust, looking creatively at food and how it connects to our health and matters of climate and social justice. She has new work in both Magma and the forthcoming anthology ‘New Daughters of Africa’ in 2019.
