Roni Helou - Lebanon

Roni Helou is a womenswear designer who graduated in 2016 from Creative Space Beirut, a not for profit organisation providing free education in fashion design. Roni’s environmental and animal rights activism has heavily influenced hsi collections and he strives to engage in methods of sustainability, local action and fair practices. In this vein, the project presented at International Fashion Showcase asks what his collections can do to tackle the Lebanese garbage crisis, which began in 2015, and what can be done to change behaviour around recycling and waste.
