Leonardo DiCaprio plays Cobb, a corporate spy with a unique skill – he can enter a person’s dream state and extract secrets hidden deep within. However, the psychological and personal toll is great, and he’s put to the ultimate test when asked to carry out a seemingly impossible job - to implant an idea into the mind of the heir to a family business.

Helping him carry out this reverse heist is a team of specialists (including Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page) who accompany Cobb through a dizzying succession of dreams within dreams, all brilliantly realised with Oscar-winning sound, special effects and cinematography. Also playing important roles are French star Marion Cotillard, the charismatic Cillian Murphy plus veteran British actor and Nolan regular Michael Caine. This fantastically imaginative and densely plotted thriller demands to be seen on the big-screen, as urban landscapes transform in spectacular fashion and reality constantly shifts the deeper you travel into the story.
