Radar Creativo

22 Nov 2017

This November, Somerset House Studios partners with British Council Peru and Fundacion Telefonica on Radar Creativo, a programme designed to promote the connection between UK and Peruvian artists working at the intersection of art and digital technologies.

Taking place in Lima from November 23-30, Studio artists Werkflow, Libby Heaney and Matthew Plummer- Fernandez will be presenting on their work, and leading a series of workshops with local artists exploring 3D remixing, the production of narrative in VR and the relationship between space and body in the context of quantum physics.

The programme aims to encourage the exploration of digital technologies in artistic practice in Peru, and marks the beginning of an exchange between the two cities, which will see Peruvian artists take up short term residencies at Somerset House Studios in 2018.
