After 10 successful years at Edinburgh Festival, Forest Fringe join Somerset House Studios as an Associate Artist.
Forest Fringe is an organisation run collaboratively by three artists based in the UK. Together they create festivals, host residencies and occasionally commission new work as a way of helping support a large and diverse community of independent artists working across and between theatre, dance and live art.
Set in Edinburgh in 2007, the internationally renowned Forest Fringe is evolving and today announced that they will no longer be running a venue at the Edinburgh Festival. After 10 years, the artist-led collective is changing though they will continue to work with artists, audiences and collaborators to create spaces for experimentation.
This next phase of Forest Fringe will be supported by Somerset House Studios as they become an Associate Artist. During their residency they will host a new monthly art club called The Amateurs Club starting in September 2017. These events will be free and open to anyone.
